In order to maximise your chances of achieving an early sale, kerb appeal is all important!

Make sure that the outside of your property is as tidy and appealing as possible in order to create the best first impression that you can. Give tired paintwork a lick of paint, add pots or hanging baskets to create colour and ensure that bins and any other undesirable items are stored out of sight wherever possible.

Internally, you don’t need to spend a fortune on décor as buyers will undoubtedly change things to suit their individual taste and preference, however it is always worth freshening rooms with neutral colours where appropriate and remove as much clutter as possible. Special emphasis should be put on the most important rooms to a buyer – the kitchen and bathrooms. Make sure they are kept clean and tidy and remove any unnecessary items from work tops.

The devil’s in the detail!…Prospective buyers will no doubt be looking at a number of properties, so make sure yours stands out from the crowd by taking a little extra care to ensure that all light bulbs are working, taps aren’t dripping and doors, floors and staircases aren’t creaking – the little things can count!

Finally, outside is just as important, therefore make sure that the gardens, fencing, etc are all as tidy and well kept as they can be – keeping it looking at its best will really help.

Let us do the hard work – it is very important that buyers feel at ease when they view a property and they can often feel uncomfortable looking around your home. Therefore why not consider taking advantage of our free accompanied viewing service?…after all you are paying us to sell your home!
